The concept was first brought to life by NASA. The idea behind this ant aquarium; study the behavior of ants.It's almost the same like having an aquarium with fish. The gel in the aquarium provides food to the ants, and serves as a substitute for the earth.

If you won't leave the aquarium in the sun the gel won't melt, unless you want to have tan ants, then this aquarium doesn't suit you :P
