We've seen thousands of various LCD screens, all in different shapes and sizes. But not once have we seen a curved one.AU Optronics presented this curved screen to the audience at the SID. It is believed to be the first kind in the world. A special thinning technique enabled the company to manufacture a display that has a radius of 100mm.
Because of this invention, a series of new gadgets might appear. Think of all the places where curved screens might come in handy; watches, cars, clothes, ...
